Author’s debut novel spins tale of unrequited love. Sue Krawitz announces release of ‘His Kate’

PLYMOUTH MEETING, Pa. – Greg Janera and Heather Damon are in a three-year relationship when they take a break and Greg meets Kate Shuster. He falls in love with Kate, but then has to decide who he wants to be with after a life-changing event is revealed. That decision will affect all three characters for the rest of their lives. The story unfolds in author Sue Krawitz’s debut novel, “His Kate” (published by Archway Publishing).

“The book will appeal to readers because most people can relate to wanting someone or something they cannot have. Most people have a past love in which they wonder ‘what if.’ Many people can also relate to knowing the meaning of ‘the one that got away,’” Krawitz says, explaining that she was inspired by her own experience of falling in love with a friend, but knowing they could never be together. “It couldn’t work out romantically with him and I fictionalized the story as a tribute to how I felt for him.”

Krawitz adds, “My book is an emotional and tender love story about two people who want to be together but can’t. It is a story about making choices and sacrifices for the greater good of others… I want readers to know that life is not perfect but to live your life in the best way you can without having regrets. Speak your mind and do what is right. If you are in a similar situation as any of the characters, know you are not alone.”
